May sangka lobo nga indi eon makadakop it sapat hay nakakita it patay nga karnero sa kataeunan. Owa't eabot nga sueok, gutom pa gid imaw ag nahadlok nga basi bumalik ro leon nga nagpatay sa karnero hay gin-inusang gid nana ro mabahoe nga karne it karnero hasta ro sangka tue-an hay nagbara sa anang tutonlan.
Suminggit imaw agod mangayo it bulig. Nagpalibot-libot imaw agod makakita it sapat nga makabulig kana, pero sin-o ro may mayad it piniino nga isueod nana ra ueo sa sueod it tutonlan it sangka lobo?
Sa ulihi hakita ni lobo ro sangka crane ag ginpromisahan nana nga taw-an nana it premyo kon mahukas nana ro tue-an sa anang tutonlan. Bangod mahaba ra pantok ag ra liog hay madali sa crane sa paghukas ku nagbara nga tue-an.
Ag gulpi nga nagbalikid ro lobo ag nag-umpisa sa pagpanaw.
Naghambae ro crane, Hello! Hello! Ano ro natabu? Siin eon rang premyo?”
Nagsabat ro lobo, :”Premyo? Bukon abi’t bag-o ko eang gintao kimo? Pilang mga sapat nga nagbutang ku andang liog sa baba it lobo ag nagsugid ku andang haagyan? Ginlibre ko ring kabuhi. Bukon abi’t ruyon rang pinakamabahoe nga premyo kimo?”
Naghibayag ro lobo ag nagpanaw paeayo.
Ulihi eon madumduman ku crane nga ro maaein nga tawo hay owa ginatuman ro anang promisa.
Moral: Indi gid magsalig sa maeain nga tawo.
