*Today, December 30, 2009, Philippine time, Filipinos celebrate the death of Dr. Jose Rizal, the greatest Filipino hero. He died by firing squad at Bagumbayan (now Luneta), Manila. It was said that before he fell down, he twisted his body so that he would fall facing the skies.
