When your sun suddenly set
With the rising of Covid-19,
I shed more tears than ever
For I had no chance to bid you goodbye.
When you could still smile,
You helped build a creative garden
Where eager and young minds were cultured
By the Father of Western Visayas Literature
And his sons and daughters.
Everything has an end
But the energy of your footsteps will be perpetuated
And will continue to be immortalized.
