We Grow Old To Be Young Again
***Melchor F. Cichon***

Revised: 5:01 p. m.
We grow old
To be young again.
In between,
We journey the seas
Of our lives
And engulf some water.
Some are clear
But not necessarily clean.
Others are not so clear
But by accident
We swallowed them.
At times,
We have to cross many bridges
To cross more bridges.
Then we will meet
A branching road
And we have to choose
Only one
Which hopefully
Will lead us to see
Our horizon
Before our sundown.
Then we start
Walking
With someone holding us;
Feeding ourselves
With someone holding our spoons
Till we fall asleep.
